Respiratory Therapy

photo-respiratoryWhen your staff is faced with more challenging respiratory and equipment needs, our Respiratory Therapists are there for you. The therapists from Premier Medical Corporation are licensed by the state and credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Our therapists partner with our hospice, nursing home and PACE provider staffs to manage the more complex needs of patients with tracheostomies, COPD, high-liter flow oxygen requirements and obstructive sleep apnea. Our therapists work as part of the team of caregivers to assess those patients and develop care plans for their higher acuity needs.

Our therapist also can assist patients who are ventilator dependent and want to transition to hospice care. We are there to help make the transition of high-tech equipment, patient and family needs and concerns appear seamless, from the hospital to home or care center. Teaching the nurses, patients and families how to safely use and manage respiratory equipment is a daily part of our practice.
